Softwrap Tarnish Preventing Wrap - Large Sheets

Softwrap is an extremely soft, non-abrasive wrap that is pH neutral and specially designed to help prevent the tarnishing of sterling silver and silverplate. Made from 100% virgin, sulfur-free materials, this wrap is constructed from two 10.8# tissue sheets stitched together to form a durable 2-ply wrap. Unlike regular tissue paper, which can trap moisture or release sulfur compounds that accelerate tarnishing, Softwrap is free of acids and lignin and helps create a protective microenvironment around your silver. By minimizing exposure to air and corrosive gases such as hydrogen sulfide, it significantly reduces the risk of oxidation. This pack includes 5 pale mint tissues, each measuring 42” by 40”, making them ideal for wrapping larger silver pieces such as trays, candelabras, or servingware. For best results, we recommend wrapping your silver items fully in the Softwrap tissue before storing them.
