The Baby Hedgehog is the third in the collection of land babies from Donna Carter Designs. When born, hoglets are very tiny, eyes closed and bald. They really need the mother to be protective and willing to wean them. These warm-blooded little mammals are often carefully trained to become socialized enough to become cuddly pets. Soft like a kitten and just so funny and cute. However, the nature of this character is to be a solitary animal, not minding to be alone. If they are done with your company or feel a threat, they will curl up into a very prickly ball. The ornament measures 1.75” high and includes gift box and ribbon for hanging. Not Dated.
