      2011 Metropolitan Museum Snowflake Sterling Ornament Box & Felt Bag Included. The 2011 Sterling Silver Snowflake is bassed on Matida Stoughton De Jaudenes, a splendid protait by master portraitist Gilbert Stuart. Painted in 1794, it shows Matida Stoughton dressed in a noble Hispanic dress of the day with a fanciful jeweled ornament in her hair, the snowflake is adapted from that jeweled ornament.
