The 2022 Belleek Ballycopeland Windmill Ornament is the 35th edition in this annual series. Situated in Millisle, County Down, Ballycopeland Windmill is the only remaining functioning Windmill in Northern Ireland. With a typical stone tower, the Windmill was built around the 1780’s-90’s and has three storeys. Powered by the wind transmitted from its sails, there are three pairs of millstones found on the ground floor which were responsible for making wheatmeal, shelling, and grinding grain into oatmeal. An important source of food until the First World War, the Windmill was restored back to working order in 1978 and now houses a visitor center. This beautiful ornament created by the designers at Belleek features hand painted with gold highlights and a lucky shamrock on the reverse. The Woodfolk Ltd from County Fermanagh has lovingly produced the turning oak sails, adding a playful feature to this unique piece. The ornament makes a great gift, includes original factory gift box and measures 3.5" high. Fine Parian China, Hand painted details. Made by Belleek in Ireland. The ornament is not dated.
Please Note: Belleek has decided not to include a clapper this year for their annual ornament. This is the annual 35th edition ornament for 2022, however, it is not a bell.

All engraving will be sized appropriately to fit your item unless you instruct us otherwise. We utilize a state of the art fiber laser for engraving. The fiber laser allows for clearer text whether small or large. Fiber lasers do not physically touch the surface as they remove material during engraving thus avoiding dents or punctures that can be caused by rotary engravers. Custom engraving is available for company logos, images, and designs. If you have any questions about personalizing an item please contact us; we would be more than happy to assist you.

    Letter Style

Using names with plain text to personalize an item is a popular choice. A first or last name, first and last name, or first, middle, and last name can be engraved depending on available space. For some items it may be necessary to engrave on multiple lines to include the full name. This is a common choice for those who would like to include a date as well. (Robert David Smith)

    Engraving Initials

A traditional three letter traditional monogram includes three initials with the last initial larger in the center with the first initial on the left and the middle initial on the right. (Robert David Smith)

    Date Style

For smaller items we recommend a numerical date where numbers are separated by slashes, dashes, periods or center dots.

An alphanumeric date is a great option when the item has enough room.
