The 2017 Royal Copenhagen Christmas Bell is the 26th edition in this classic series and was designed by Danish artist Allan Therkelsen. A little girl with her father feed the swans of old Peblinge Lake on Christmas Eve. This beautiful lake in Copenhagen freezes over in the winter and is a wonderful place for ice-skating. The Lake Pavilion sits in the background and was built for the capital's Skating Association in 1894. Each bell is embossed on porcelain, hand painted in brilliant cobalt blue and glazed. The "Walk at the Lakes" porcelain bell measures 4" high and includes Royal Copenhagen gift box.
