Royal Copenhagen

Royal Copenhagen was founded as the Royal Danish Porcelain Manufactory in 1775 and has ever since manufactured porcelain art with profound respect for the tradition and noble craftsmanship. The collectables are particularly coveted and the plates with the evocative motifs long ago became synonymous with royal Danish porcelain. The first plate was issued in 1908 and among the best known motifs is the kneeling angel in 1945.
