The Reed & Barton Sterling Cross Ornament series, introduced in 1971, has long been a cherished part of Christmas traditions. Now in it's 44th edition, the 2014 Christmas Cross is beautifully handcrafted by skilled silversmiths in the USA. The striking design was inspired by Medieval ornamentation found in thirteenth century churches and chapels. Exquisite beading and flowing fan carvings emanate from the center, creating a beautifully timeless design. At the close of the season, the dies used to create each Reed & Barton Christmas Cross are destroyed, thereby assuring its owner a true collectable. Original factory gift box, protective velvet pouch, brochure, and ribbon are all included. The Cross Ornament is engraved 2014 Reed & Barton Sterling on the reverse, has a flat back, and measures just over 3" High.
